It is important that you switch your cards because the old MyRapid cards will stop functioning after 15 July.
You can migrate your cards for free at the Rapid KL Customer Service Counters at any LRT, Monorail or BRT station according to their operating hours, except at the Abdullah Hukum LRT Station.
As for concession card holders, that means if you’re a student, senior citizen or person with disabilities, you can replace your cards at the Rapid KL Concession Counter at the Pasar Seni bus hub, where you need to fill in some forms and have your photos taken for identification purposes.
You can only transfer a minimum balance of RM5 into the new MyRapid TnG card. So if you’re left with only RM2 in your card, you might want to reload and round up the balance. Don’t say RM2 is nothing because you can still buy roti canai with that!
The Smart 7, Smart 30 and MyRapid Bus 30 package subscribers can continue enjoying the same discounts with the new card. However, you’re not allowed to migrate the remaining days. So it’s best to finish up your balance before changing to the MyRapid TnG card.
If you have more questions or concerns about the new card, visit the MyRapid website for more information or contact Rapid KL at 03-7885 2525.
